Table Mound students dress for the book fair with “Coin for the Day” by bringing coins in and dressing for the day. Coin donations will be used to purchase new books for the library.

5th Grade Volcano Inquiry Projects
Ms. Link, a University of Dubuque student teacher in Ms. Thill’s 5th grade class, inspired students to present their volcano inquiry research in a green screen video format. Students rehearsed scripts they had written, created teleprompter presentations to display their scripts, then performed in front of a green screen using the teleprompter. Students were also responsible for finding images to use to replace the green screen, while learning about image search techniques and copyright issues.

Celebrating 100th Day
Kindergarten and 1st Grade students celebrate 100 days of school with various activities: creating a miniature gumball machine with 100 gumballs and a necklace with 100 pieces of fruity cereal, using a 100 chart, manipulating 100 objects, and stacking 100 cups.
